Some interesting tidbits here, especially the off-farm demand. I expect things will be even higher for this past summer which is pretty telling for the future and the conflicts that may arise.

Agricultural producers used approximately 1.7 billion cubic metres of water to irrigate their crops in 2014, the same amount reported in 2012.
