The City of Vancouver would like to hire a consultant team to review
kitchens in city facilities, assess the use and condition of kitchens, and
make recommendations for improvement. Proposals are due Sept. 30th*.* Please

*B**ackground:*
There is a demand for access to publicly-accessible kitchens, however there
are challenges accessing spaces. The condition of kitchen facilities is
highly variable and affects what type of foods or programming can be
provided, as well as how many people can participate. As a result, there is
need for an assessment of the typology, condition, usage, and needs of
kitchens. Information about equipment requirements for different types of
kitchens is needed, as well as design, construction, and use implications.
Information and resources are also required in order to improve the use of
existing kitchens.
