Hi Lana what is the plan for this emergency? Will the cmte campaign for the BC gov to pay for water vouchers for urban farmers who are growing food in this emergency. JFB

Less than 15% snow pack on Vancouver Island. 


So little prepared. So few trained in farming in severe drought conditions let alone farming. 


Guess we'll be eating the babies soon. 


Or maybe start with the dogs. 


Laughing, crying, dying inside, guess I'll do the only thing I know how to do.

The Opposition Standing Committee for Agriculture and Food will be coming to the lovely town of Williams Lake on April 8th. We are now accepting appointments from 1pm until 8pm that day. Presentations to our panel should be 10 minutes long. We ask that you also submit a copy of your presentation by email that day. 10 additional minutes will also be scheduled after your presentation for questions from our committee members.
