Greetings

With thanks to Arzeena Hamir's for her post on Linked In - here is an
opportunity to join "a unique, days-long, online celebration of
community-led approaches to living well in place here in Salmon Nation."
The schedule <https://www.festivalofwhatworks.events/festival2021/schedule>
with
over 100 speakers and 50 sessions includes a range of topics related to
these lands and waters, and features speakers such as the BCFSN's long-time
teacher Dawn Morrison on Nature-Based Planning in Action.

The Festival of What Work <https://www.festivalofwhat.works/about-us/>s is
a production of The Magic Canoe, a non-profit organization designed to grow
a movement made up of paddlers in a "magic canoe." It draws inspiration
from the work of Wa'xaid, Cecil Paul
<https://www.raincoast.org/2019/07/stories-from-the-magic-canoe-of-waxaid/>
.

Lots of inspiration in these offerings. Do consider donating, if you can,
to support this work.

In good food

Kathleen Gibson
