Hi all,

Anita here from FarmFolk CityFolk. This grant aligns really well with some
work we are doing and want to ramp up. Since 2018, we've been working to
engage eaters, support farmers and ranchers, and influence policy with the
goal of transforming BC's foodlands to be climate solutions providers -
both by reducing emissions and sequestering carbon - with the co-benefits
of biodiversity protection, local food production, and climate resilience.

You can read more about it on our site, and check back in a few weeks as we
are about to launch a whole new website.

I'm very proud of what we've done so far, but a grant this size could lead
to a much bigger impact. I'm in the early stages of thinking about pursuing
it and would welcome hearing from folks who would like to collaborate
and/or advise. I attended one info session already and will attend the
BC-specific one on April 7 too.

Please email me directly if you'd like to talk more!

Best,

Anita
