We are looking for a Program Officer

who will support the operations and coordination of the coalition.

Farmers for Climate Solutions (FCS) is a pan-Canadian coalition of
farmer-led organizations and supporters working to advance climate
solutions in agriculture policy. This is an opportunity to work with
incredible partners to advance policies to spread climate solutions on
millions of acres of farmland across the country.

This is an open-ended, full time position. You must be based in and have
the legal right to work in Canada. Benefits available for this position
include:

   - Extended health, pharmaceutical, and dental coverage
   - Life and disability insurance
   - Defined contribution pension plan
   - Parental leave
   - Flexibility regarding working hours (in particular in light of
   COVID-19 constraints)
   - Flexibility regarding location (Ottawa preferred but not required)
   - Salary between $57,203.65 and $68,311.48 depending on experience
   - Benefits and protections as a member of the Union of Public Service
   Alliance of Canada

The Program Officer will support the operations and coordination of FCS by
fulfilling the following mandate:

   1. Support coalition member services and engagement
   2. Support FCS Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) and
   Communications
   3. Support FCS staff, Governing Body, and Working Groups
   4. Conduct administrative tasks

*Deadline for applications is July 21, 2021. Interviews of short-listed
candidates are anticipated to be held August 9 and 10, 2021.*
