*Call for nominations open for FSC Board of Directors*
The nomination period closes August 16

Each year, FSC's Board of Directors reviews priorities and upcoming
activities to facilitate recruitment of candidates to join the board. The
COVID-19 pandemic has brought many unique challenges, but it has also
highlighted urgent issues within, and beyond, the food system, and will
continue to influence our work moving forward.

In 2020-2021, we are looking for 2-4 new Board members who share this
commitment to collaborative food systems transformation at multiple levels,
from the grassroots to federal policy. The Board will continue to steward
changes to ensure FSC’s governance is reflective of grassroots voices and
the diversity of the food movement, centring Indigenous, Black and
racialized leaders, communities and policy demands; reimagining future
membership; and advancing food policy at the federal level to create a more
healthy, just, and sustainable food system. FSC is continuing to integrate
practices of anti-oppression, anti-racism and decolonization, including at
the board level, and we are seeking board members who can help support and
build on this ongoing work.

*Appel à nomimations en cours pour le conseil d'administration du RAD*
La période de nomination se termine le 16 août

Chaque année, le conseil d'administration du RAD examine les priorités et
les activités à venir afin de faciliter le recrutement de candidats pour
rejoindre le conseil. La pandémie COVID-19 a apporté de nombreux défis
uniques, mais elle a également mis en évidence des problèmes urgents au
sein et au-delà du système alimentaire, et continuera à influencer notre
travail pour l'avenir.

En 2020-2021, nous recherchons 2 à 4 nouveaux membres du conseil
d'administration qui partagent cet engagement en faveur de la
transformation collaborative des systèmes alimentaires à de multiples
niveaux, du communautaire à la politique fédérale. Le conseil
d'administration continuera à gérer les changements afin de s'assurer que
la gouvernance du RAD reflète les voix de la population et de la diversité
du mouvement alimentaire, en centrant les leaders et les demandes
politiques des communautés autochtones, noires et racialisées, en
réimaginant la structure future du membership et en faisant avancer la
politique alimentaire au niveau fédéral afin de créer un système
alimentaire plus sain, plus juste et plus durable. Le RAD continue à
intégrer des pratiques d'anti-oppression, d'antiracisme et de
décolonisation, y compris au niveau du conseil d'administration, et nous
recherchons des membres du conseil d'administration qui peuvent aider à
soutenir et à développer ce travail en cours.
