*Community Seed Meeting *
Okanagan Seed Savers

*Date:* Monday November 18th 2019

*Time:* 4-6pm
(You are welcome to arrive at 3:50pm, we will start promptly at 4:10pm)

Nanaimo Ave West, Penticton, BC
*Details:* Discuss what we can do as a community through this group to
support seed security in the valley. This meeting is an open invitation to
anyone that has interest, ideas, resources and/or time to support Okanagan
Seed Security. People of all levels are welcome. If you are just curious
about seed saving or you are a seed farmer wanting to be involved then you
are welcome!

A few things we will discuss are;

- Seedy Saturday season (organization, advertisement, opportunity to
participate)
- Seed libraries (creating a new one or adding to existing libraries)
- Seed workshops
- Garden space
- Fundraising/ Funding
- Who wants to be involved to do what (participating only to provide ideas
and attend events is totally welcomed as well as people who would like to
take on a larger role)
- Other topics.....

You are encouraged to bring seeds and seed resources to share!!! If you
really want to attend but the time or location is a barrier, please be in
touch so we can figure out a way to include you.
