Hello Minister, Some of the grassroots are getting together to call for some action on our very real and threatening Climate Food Emergency, because it doesn't seem like the governments of the world are actually getting the peril that the global heating puts us in when it comes to food production. According to the data coming back from the satellites the world is getting dangerously close to a Blue Ocean Event. At that point we receive the equivalent of 25 years of heating all at once. 
We have been following our own research from a variety of news sources, for the last 16 years, and more recently we follow independent climate scientist Paul Beckwith. 
According to the UN FAO global food production is down for the third year in a row. 
Please follow the coalition on FB, Women's Food and Water Initiative. You will find our demands there. It may be that there is not enough time to adapt or do anything to ensure a stable food source in each bioregion but we need our governments to try and to lead the way using the power of truth. No more sugar coating, give us all a chance to make peace with our family members and whatever else we need to make peace with by telling us, the people of Canada, the updated truth.
