[BCFSN] Looking for data on customer demand for local food & producer demand for farmland & shared facilities

Dear BC Food Systems Network hive mind,

A local society here in Powell River is trying to assemble data to support
the case for a community farm & teaching farm in the region.

They are looking at surveying consumers to gauge demand for more
locally-produced food, and also trying to make the case for community-owned
facilities (equipment, processing, possibly slaughter/dairy) as an
incentive for recruiting more and younger farmers to the region.

Most of these data will have to come from local surveys & focus groups, but
we're wondering if people out there have access to similar sorts of surveys
for other regions in BC or for the province as a whole.

If you don't know how to access such data but you know someone who might,
please feel free to send the contact info my way. And of course if you have
expertise or knowledge about this information for your region, let me know
as well.
