Dear Friends,

Premier Christy Clark may think that she's moving on with Site C, but she's
hugely mistaken. This battle to save the Peace River Valley from this
unnecessary and destructive project is far from over!

Five, soon to be 6 lawsuits have been launched against the federal and
provincial governments with regard to Site C. The cases are solid and will
set important precedents in environmental assessment in Canada.

We are not finished yet!

We are going to continue to work to support Treaty 8 First Nations and Peace
Valley Landowners as they proceed with their litigation against Site C in
the coming months. We want to make sure that the
court of public opinion is loud and strong. We will not stand by and allow
this devastating project to proceed!

The BC Clean Energy and Canadian Geothermal Associations recently completed
reports detailing that there are far better, more cost effective
alternatives for future energy production in BC. Additionally, these
projects could provide jobs throughout the province, where they are needed,
rather than in the north, where employment levels are already high.

We support farm families and their way of life in the valley. We believe
that food production is a far more valuable use of the rich, alluvial valley
soils than energy production. You can find alternative sources of energy,
but you cannot replace Class 1 and 2 soils after they're washed down the
river.

We're going to make sure that Site C doesn't become B.C.'s next White
Elephant.

And we hope that you will continue to stand with us!

Stay tuned.

We wish you all the best of the season and we look forward to working with
you to protect the valley in the coming year.

For the Peace,
