We have operated successfully since our founding in 1999, relying on the efforts of many volunteers and the money we raise through memberships and donations. We support people in their efforts to foster healthy food systems around the province and we welcome donations. Please note that we are not able to supply charitable receipts for donations.

We welcome membership from all who endorse our Mission and Principles. Please read these before applying for membership. We will understand your application for membership as tacit endorsement of our mission and principles.

We understand that many folks out there are struggling to make ends meet. And we’ve always been highly committed to accessibility for all. So we will not let people’s ability to pay get in the way of membership in the BC Food Systems Network. Please choose the level that you wish to pay.

Our suggested levels of annual dues are as follows.

• Low income: $5 – $20
• Individual: $30 – $50
• NGO, small group, non-profit, farm: $50 – $100
• Large group, government, private sector, industry: $250 – $500
• Sustaining member: $500+
