Hi all - i just had a look at the Blog at the end of Kristeva's email - it is a most interesting read..... and just goes to show what we can learn and share via this marvelous tool - the internet.....

I think you're spot on David. I agree with Cheryl in that if you can make
such direct connections they are very valuable not only for the cost
savings, but also for the 'social capital' community development aspect.
But, there are many who cannot make those types of connections (for a
variety of reasons) and thus the coop would be the answer for many. And,
it in itself would have a certain intrinsic social capital value for many,
many people. There is a lot of community development that will come out of
such a development. I'm thrilled to be part of this discussion and
development. Thanks again for getting this started!
