Hello all,
this landed in my inbox this morning. Please note that the deadline is end
of day WEDNESDAY this week. The funding is available to any who are
supplying emergency food - see below.
I have emailed CFCC to voice my concern about the very, very short
turn-around on the application deadline.

with a deadline of next Wednesday August 26th.

The Good Food Access Fund (GFAF) provides funding to address the existing
and anticipated food access needs in your community that have arisen as a
result of COVID-19 restrictions and impacts.
The funding has been established to flow funding through community-level
organizations as part of a national-level response to improve shorter-term
food access for people and households severely impacted by the COVID-19
crisis.
Please complete this application by 11:59 PM PST Wednesday, August 26,
2020.
Grantees will be notified by Friday September 4th, 2020.
Please note the following:
-
CFCC will provide award amounts in the following categories $10,000,
$20,000 and up to a maximum of $50,000, final award amounts will be
determined at the discretion of CFCC.
-
CFCC encourages any awarded funds to be used over a 1-3 month period.
-
CFCC does not guarantee that your application will be selected for an
award.
-
If you have received funding in previous rounds of the Good Food Access
Fund you are still eligible to apply
Two funding streams are available.
CFCC is prioritizing applications for Black, Indigenous and People of
Colour (POC) led organizations and organizations with dedicated BIPOC
programming.
Please review the following eligibility criteria to determine which stream
of funding is most suitable to your organization.
All eligible organizations must meet the following three criteria:
1. delivering emergency food programming
2. are a legal entity in Canada
3. are a charitable organization, qualified donee or have a registered
trustee

Ceci est un formulaire de demande au Fonds d’accès à la bonne nourriture
(FABN). Le FABN offre du financement afin de répondre aux besoins
alimentaires actuels et anticipés dans votre communauté qui sont dus aux
contraintes et aux conséquences découlant de la COVID-19.
Ce fonds a été mis en place afin d’allouer du financement aux organisations
communautaires dans le cadre des efforts nationaux visant à améliorer
l’accès à court terme à la nourriture pour les personnes et les ménages

CCAC offrira des allocations de 10 000 $ et de 20 000 $, et d’un maximum
de 50 000 $ dans certains cas. Le montant final des allocations sera
