Dear Colleagues

 

Forum for Law, Environment, Development and Governance (FLEDGE), IUCN CEC Specialist Group on
Traditional Knowledge and Community Engagement and the International Initiative on Knowledge
Management (IIKM) is pleased to share draft Principles and Guidelines for Community Seed and Gene
Banks for your review and inputs.

 

FLEDGE, IUCN CEC and IIKM are currently working with Governments of Peru and  Cameroon along with
other international, national and local agencies to establish ean international network of community
seed banks. These Principles and Guidelines are expected to support this inititive.
