Please share this statement far and wide in response to Kinder Morgan's
TransMountain Pipeline and Pacific Salmon Foundation token approach to
better understanding the risks associated with the pipeline.

Western science and it's environmental assessment have failed Indigenous
peoples and wild salmon miserably...their cognitive imperialism and
reductionist methodologies are only about "control with no soul" and are
unable to deal with complexity involved in conserving Indigenous
Biocultural Heritage. ...environmental assessment procedures are not able
to assess the risks associated with indigenous food and cultural
values...TransMountain pipeline and Pacific Salmon Foundation are not the
ultimate voice of truth and reason.


Call to Action to all our non-Indigenous friends and allies - Climate chaos
is happening at a rate outside of the historical range of variability. Even
the federal government has declared that BC is in a critical state of
emergency yet they are ramming through a pipeline that will increase our
reliance on fossil fuels rather than slow it down.

We need you more than ever to stand up and push the governments and
corporations to stop any further damage to our complex system of Indigenous
land, water and bio-diversity and cultural heritage in the land and food
system. All people benefit from the bio-diversity and all people are
impacted by the cycle of violence and oppression whether they are aware of
it or not. We all play an important role in ensuring that the cycle of
violence to one another and Mother Earth are not being perpetuated.
