Farm to School BC has an exciting job opportunity available for the role of
Provincial Manager. See brief position description below and follow the

Established in 2007, Farm to School BC (F2SBC) is a diverse and expanding
provincial network that promotes, supports, and links F2S activity, policy
and programs across the province.

Farm to School (F2S) programs bring healthy, local food into schools, and
provide students with hands-on learning opportunities that foster food
literacy, all while strengthening the local food system and enhancing
school and community connectedness. F2S empowers students and school
communities to make informed food choices while contributing to vibrant,
sustainable regional food systems that support the health of people, place
and planet.

Reporting to the Executive Director of the Public Health Association of BC,
the F2SBC Provincial Manager will build capacity within communities that
have existing F2S programs, inspire new programs, advocate for supportive
policy and planning within the health, agriculture, education and municipal
sectors, fundraise, and strengthen and solidify the F2S BC network through
timely communications.

The Provincial Manager brings expertise in the areas of health, education,
school food, community development and sustainable regional food systems.
They will also poses excellent communication and relationship development
skills, and are both a systems thinker and detail oriented project manager.
The Provincial Manager oversees the growth and development of three Farm to
School BC Regional Hubs across the province, and supervises F2SBC Community
Animators in each of these Hub Regions.
