The 3rd Annual Small Farm Sessions are a full day of technical session and
trade show for farmers with diverse operations connected with the local
sustainable food system. Our 2016 theme is Water Management and Irrigation
and the day will include a series of talks and demonstrations.


When: Saturday, February 13 from 9am - 3pm

Where: Melville Centre for Dialogue, KPU Richmond

Cost: $20 (includes coffee and lunch)

9:15  - Funding Opportunities for Improving Your Farm

10:30 - Coffee Break (provided)

10:45 - Practical Climate Change Impacts in Southwest BC

11:15 - Soil Monitoring Tools & Technology

12:00 - Lunch (provided)

1:00  - Irrigation Technology & Design

2:00  - Farmers Panel

2:45  - Final Remarks


The Trade show, which will run concurrently, will include vendors and
organizations who can provide ideas, support programs and products to
improve water conservation, drought adaptation and revenue on you
farm operation.


The Small Farm Sessions are organized and hosted by the Sustainable
Agriculture and Food Systems department at KPU.
