Hello Member Markets,

The BCAFM Farmers’ Market Management Certification program (
http://www.bcfarmersmarket.org/markets/subpage/2015-strengthening-farmers-markets
) starts soon! The first of a series of webinars takes place October 1
and will cover Market Management Best Practices. Updated descriptions
about all the webinars and the in-person workshops can be found on our

).

Registration now is open.  You can chose to do the full certification,
or chose to only attend a few sessions. The intended audience is for
market managers, coordinators, board members, and key volunteers. The
program is BCAFM’s first certification of its kind and is an
opportunity for market managers, board members, and other interested
participants to further develop their skills to run effective
farmers’ markets.

Topics include:

* Vendorship
* Financial Sustainability, Fundraising and Revenue Streams
* Legal & Governance Issues for Non-Profits
* Outreach
* Skills for Great Managers

Pricing:

* Full certification program:  $190 for first registrant;  +$95 for
second registrant;  +$30 for third registrant
* À la carte: $25 per webinar;  $20 per Q&A;  $50 per in-person
