Frank Leonard ‹ pivotal for foodlands protection as ALC chair ‹ is in his
eighth week. How¹s he doing?

One view: Leonard¹s early use of the V-word triggered alarm bells, but
viability as a standard can be good (as an aim to enable) as well as bad (as
an excuse for ALR exclusion). In the recent Langford challenge, his response
shows promise.
