Subject: help with spreading word about seed producers survey
To: Abra Brynne <abra at peelingtheonion.ca>, Abra Brynne <abrabrynne at gmail.com
>

Hi Abra;

I'm wondering if you can help me spread the word about something. I'm part
of a newly emerging cooperative here in BC. The BC Eco Seed Co-op. We're a
small group of seed producers from across the province (and looking for
more potential members, by the way). Right now, to help us in our
development process we are conducting a survey. I'm wondering if you could
take the time to forward this to any contact lists you have. Basically,
anyone who is a seed saver, on any level, can fill in the survey. This
would be of great help to us. It's already gone out to BC Seeds listseve
and COABC. I was wondering if you might have a KOGS list you could make a
plea to as the administrator.

As a bonus, respondents can enter for a chance to win a free registration
(value of $175) to the 2014 BC Seeds Gathering in Richmond in November. It
will be a great conference with lots of inspiration and learning
opportunities about seeds.

We are asking for BC seed producers (whether backyard, small-scale
commercial, or large scale commercial), to complete the following
65-question survey. The survey is anticipated to take 30 minutes
to complete and the results will be used to help guide the business plan
for the BC EcoSeeds Co-operative.

To access the survey, just follow the link below:

https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/BCEcoSeed

In completing the survey, you can enter to win free registration to the 2014
BC Seeds Gathering <http://www.bcseeds.org/>! Your assistance during this
busy season is gratefully appreciated.

If you have any questions regarding this survey or the research project,
please contact the research team at: bcseedcoop at gmail.com
<bcseedcooperative at gmail.com>. More information is also available online
at: http://www.bcseeds.org/bc-ecoseeds-coop/

thank you,

Patrick
