Apologies if you're on COMFOOD. This is a good one. Governments keep
flirting with voluntary regulations, but the food industry's interests are
in selling product, not keeping us healthy.

Good morning,

Mark Bittman’s op-ed piece in todays NY Times is brilliant. For all of us
in the various movements for community food security, food justice, food
sovereignty, good food, etc., the solution to the problem of Big Food and
their toxic manufactured, edible, substitute substances (MESSes) lies in
our hands. We are Tiny Food, and we produce real food. To succeed we must
find ways to collaborate and cooperate in order to magnify our impact. As
Amin et al wrote in Food Movements, Unite, we must unite and work together.

Best,

Hank
