The Shuswap Food Action Co-Op ( SFAC ) is in a re-building of mission and actions. We have identified five initiatives that will support a local, secure, healthy, food environment.

In no particular order.
1) shaping public policy
2) urban/community gardens
3) education, communication, marketing
4) fund raising
5) develop food hub and markets

I am personally involved with the public policy action and would be very appreciative to receive strategies and guidelines that have worked in your community. Info on the other actions will also be appreciated and I can forward to the leaders of each action.
